St. David’s has been serving as the hands and feet of Christ in the community of Lake Echo for almost 60 years, offering and supporting a variety of ministries.
 

As you click your way through these pages, you’ll begin to get a sense of who we are as a faith community.

Mission Statement

Being a diverse community within the United Church of Canada, we study and explore the relevance of scripture in our lives as Christians; and we endeavour to be an inviting and nurturing place where all feel welcome.
 

We strive to live out a life of stewardship that provides, cares for and sustains those in our communities and the wider world.

Services

Church Service Times & Sunday School:


St. David’s United holds regular church service at 11:15 a.m. from September to June.


St. David’s United and Calvin United holds summer church service at 10:00 a.m. in July and August at alternating locations.  Please refer to our events calendar to confirm the date/location of summer services.  Sunday School is held during church service time.

Introduction

St. David’s United Church in Lake Echo is part of the Lawrencetown-Lake Echo Pastoral Charge,         Halifax Presbytery, and Maritime Conference. 
 

The organization of St. David’s United Church is as follows:


• Order of Ministry Personnel
• Clerk of Session
• Chair of Ministry & Personnel Committee
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Trustees
• Stewards
• Christian Education Committees

 

St. David’s United and Calvin United in Lawrencetown were formed as one Pastoral Charge in 1979.     The Official Board serves as the court of this Pastoral Charge.
